Welcome to Flex Physiotherapy Practice

Flex Physiotherapy Practice is a private physiotherapy provider in Oxfordshire. Our philosophy is to provide the answers to people who have pain or injury. We believe passionately in the importance of an accurate diagnosis as the first step in the journey to getting better! All of our team receive special training to become experts at diagnosing problems related to joints, muscles, tendons and bones.

We work closely with GPs and some of top surgeons and consultants in the South of England, referring patients and providing specialist opinions on more complicated cases.

Rehabilitation and recovery is a key part of our work and we pride ourselves on the highest standards of treatment, both exercise-based and ‘hands-on’

The Process

DIAGNOSIS

Knowing what is causing the problem is the first step towards recovery. We pride ourselves on our diagnostic skills. We can also arrange scans or further tests where needed.

TREATMENT PLAN

The type of treatment will depend on the problem but can involve anything from a one-off session to set up an exercise programme, to a more comprehensive rehabilitation plan.

RECOVERY

Some people need a lot of help, others only a little. We love to help people get back their function and be free of pain.

Most of the people we see have something they want to achieve, whether thats getting back to activity they love, getting a proper nights sleep or simply walking downstairs without being in pain.

Helping people achieve these goals gives us as clinicians a huge sense of achievement, its why we get out of bed in the morning.

The treatment plan for each patient is agreed between the physio and the individual at the first appointment. Some people need a lot of help and others only a little but we always make sure that the patient is well informed of the treatment options available to them.
