Running is a hugely popular activity in the UK and none more so than recreational jogging. At Flex we’ve run the very popular ‘Runners Workshop’ for a few years now, helping runners to know what pains not to ignore and key tips of how to avoid injury. When injuries do set in, understanding bone health, diet, hormone balance, muscle strength and biomechanics are all hugely important clues to unpicking why a runner may have pain. This is something that we look into at initial consultation and this will often inform whether or not the patient will need further imaging or investigation.
